5. Introduction：AEGIVITA PBSA is an effective UV-B water-soluble absorber suitable for a wide range of sunscreen products. Sun protection products with AEGIVITA PBSA need proper neutralization because the free acid of AEGIVITA PBSA has limited solubility and will crystallize. It is recommended to prepare an aqueous pre-mix and neutralize it with a suitable base. The pH should be adjusted to min. 7.2 to prevent recrystalization. Weak bases like amines allow a lower pH limit.
